SyncDroid

After you install SyncDroid on your Windows PC and connect your Android via the USB cable, you will be able to perform two tasks.
Task one: back up information stored on your Android; you can back up all your contacts, text messages, call logs, browser bookmarks, audio files, videos, photos you took with the camera, and photos stored on the SD card.
Task two: restore data from your PC to your Android.

SyncDroid provides support for 32 and 64-bit Windows editions, anything from Windows XP up to Windows 8. It also provides support for many Android phones: Galaxy S4, Galaxy S3, Galaxy Note 2, LG Optimus, and many more.

To get started with SyncDroid, you will have to go through a 3-step process:
Step 1 - install SyncDroid on your PC. This is a simple task that will take little time and little effort.
Step 2 - activate USB debugging mode on your Android. Instructions on how to do so are presented on the applicaton's interface when you launch SyncDroid.
Step 3 - connect your Android via the USB cable and launch SyncDroid. The application will connect to your Android and will allow you to access the functionality it has to offer.

You can use SyncDroid to back up lots of information that is stored on your Android. You can back up all your text messages (SMS), contacts, call logs, browser bookmarks, audio files, video files, and photos (taken with your Android’s camera as well as photos stored on your SD card).
If anything happens, you can use the backup to restore data from your PC to your Android. All the data that SyncDroid backs up can be easily restored.
